This year Christmas is really cool !
Not just Christmas day itself, but the entire festive season is so joyous.
But sadly during the festive season, my grandma had a mild operation due to diabetic retinopathy. But again, she’s doing okay now, which I am really thankful.
2 weeks ago, I had a sleepover with the CBC girls at Sze’s new place. I was feeling a lil grouchy before meeting them, probably because of the cough I was having that day. Sze’s place feels like apartment/chalet, and I had fun playing the toilet lights- as I was telling the girls I was trying to create the atmosphere. We exchanged gifts and watched 2 movies (The Hangover and The Orphan). Initially I wanted to sleep first while the girls watched The Orphan, but I couldn’t. So I watched part of it and read the synopsis, and got myself screaming. The following morning I had to wake up to register for modules, and once again, nearly got myself a heart attack. Anyway, my first sleepover was FUN !
(p.s: The sleepover theme was pyjamas)
Presents Exchange !
The sumptuous Mac BreakfastThat same week, I watched Avatar in 3D with my dad. So, it was free movie + free lunch. Actually, it was more of a family bonding thing between both of us. The movie is one of the best I ever seen, and I told my dad I wished we all live in Pandora. AVATAR is DOPE (:
Seriously I went out quite a lot, and I can’t remember every single detail. So bear with the sloppy here-and-there.
There’s something awesome that I need to mention.
LIKE OMG. Kelly and I went for “BODY WORKS” exhibition which cost us 20 bucks each. I was so blown away by everything, and I wished I could take some pictures and share with whoever is reading this entry, but sadly photography is prohibited. I have to say this- I have utmost respect for everything inside the exhibition, and the people who donated their bodies for such great cause. It was mind-blowing and educational, which made our 20 bucks well spent.
Again, on the same day, we headed to town as Kelly wanted to get a photo album(which is a surprise), and I found my favorite APPLE CHIPS in the shopmart opposite of Prologue. Seneca Apple Chip is my favorite snack of all time, and I have been searching for it high and low, day and night. Packets of Seneca Apple Chips on the shelves made me really excited. Anyway Kelly was a little unhappy because I stuffed the chips in her plastic bag, which I guessed, made her look Auntie(which both of us minded such look a lot). And that day, town was so crowded, and we walked a mile to find a decent place to dine/ or to rest my feet. My feet hurt badly. I was so afraid that that my feet will be like Mrs *** (a little inside joke, which Kelly thought I was a little mean). We walked from Ion to Wisma, Wisma to Takashimaya, Takashimaya to Heerens, then poor Kelly had bird droppings on her.(I tried not to laugh, cos I had such incident before). After dinner, I wanted to head home. But again, Kelly managed to coax me to go 313 with the Cotton On shop, because of her DVD-buying hobby. Anyway, 313 wasn’t the last stop, cos we went Orchard Central. The day was pure madness, and once I hit the bed, and read the timing from my clock, it was already 12pm(the following day).

Kelly forced me to take a picture with center parting which I felt it was so gross !
Center-Parting fringe is so 1990s, and I hope the trend will not come back.
On the 22nd Dec, I was supposed to go for Kenneth’s 21st school uniform themed birthday party, but I was down with bad itch because I ate food that contained cheese. So I have spent almost the entire afternoon at the doctor’s place queuing, and needed to head home for medications. And that day I was already so zapped with all the waiting, even my mom complained that the waiting was crazy. AND, we had homemade sushi for dinner that day (eventually we had 4 days of homemade sushi, and chasoba for lunch and dinner, which I don’t mind. Cos I love Jap and Korean food :))
On the 23rd Dec, I finally met up with Claire. We had dinner and walked around, talked alil. Then again, upon my request, Claire accompanied me to shop at Cold Storage, and I bought Seneca Apple Chips and wholemeal wraps. These high-end supermarkets have incredible goodies. Yeah-ness ! We boarded the ship that docked at Harborfront for public viewing. It was super old-school, and I love old school stuffs. I forgot to take pictures with Claire ):
Christmas EVE was a blast even though I spent a bomb and Kelly taking some ugly snapshot. We watched “Alvin and The Chipmunks 2”, had dinner at SUSHI-TEI, and carried on our craziness to the newly opened Party World at Vivo City. I did some hip swing, and Kelly did a parody of SUJU’s SORRY SORRY. OMG. YangSu and I nearly had fits. We just hang around Vivo in hope to see fireworks, but nah, nothing. But Yangsu posed like a foreign worker, that’s what she claimed. They like to take photo by standing at the corner, not the center of focus. I had fits when she did that too.
Everyone needs a Christmas Tree
I needed to rest on Xmas. My energy level was dropping. Btw, I got my dog a few Christmas presents.
I went out with Shermaine on Boxing Day. We watched “Princess and The Frog”, and it was so dreamy. It might be cliché, but all girls need some fairytale lah. We were supposed to have cakes and tea at Caramel after movies, but we were kinda full. We walked from The Cathay to Bugis. (I have been walking a lot). Shopped around and we had a quick bite at Blue Mountain Café. Oh my. oh my. The hot waffles were sinful. Even now, I kept thinking about the hot waffles, thou they are absolutely fattening! (P.S : kudos to Shermaine and Alycia for the chocolate cookies, which me and my family enjoyed greatly)
Sidetrack a little.
I tried to iron my Satin pants, and I burnt a hole. So say goodbye to my favorite pants ):
