I took a day off today again. I am having extremely bad cramps but I am heading over to find Kelly at Appleland to fax my timesheet and get the photos from the June Taiwan trip.
So I guess I will be back and blog about my trip to Taiwan, gathering at Everything About Fries with CBC girls, Adele's 22nd birthday lunch at Food For Thoughts and yummy waffles with ice-cream at Plurk in a few hours' time.
It's already the 3rd Friday of August and I am going to stop working at NUH pharmacy on Wednesday and head back to school. I really look forward to my final academic year and I have made a promise to myself, since I did quite badly in the first 2 years, I am going to give my very best to pull up the grades and secure honors. I pray to God everyday to give me the faith and strength to pull through my academics, so do include me in your prayers too. I need to have more faith in myself, believing that nothing is impossible to a willing heart.
On a side note, my student's mother dropped me a message to thank me for teaching her daughter maths concept and expressed that she is glad that Victoria has gotten the maths concept right. There are times like these I feel a great sense of satisfaction. I might not be the best tutor, but I impart all my knowledge to them without any reservations, hoping that they understand concepts and excel. Because of these positive feedbacks and encouragements from these parents, I have considered to join NIE and MOE after i graduate from NTU. I've told my parents that if possible, I will join NIE and be a teacher for 2 years, and probably further my studies again when I have sufficient funds.
But before all these, I really deserve a break. I think I really do. Special semester plus work just took up the 90percent of my holidays. So i am going to BonitoChico's Birthday bash tomorrow with Sze,Liping, Shermaine and probably Adele and Xishi too. In addition, I am going to Universal Studio with Adele,Xishi, Linda and KELLY. (:
Okay, so now I am going to head out to Appleland to find Kelly and see if I can play the the kids there if Kelly allows. (I am going to go pinch Oswald's cheeks and snap cute pictures of Celest, Shannon or the infamous cheeky Chester Chua)
I know I am super draggy, but before I sign off from this personal space of mine, I am going to introduce a song. I have been singing it for days and humming the tune while I am at work.
